Careful with the tools you use to avoid tickets and high insurance rates. the use of radar and laser jammers within the state of Illinois is illegal. It is also a felony to use these devices so keep this in mind if you are currently using one. A $200 ticket is better than a felony on your record. Many states are beginning to outlaw the mere possession of a radar jammer. Drive safe and you won’t need to worry about the ticket nor the felony.
